The plasticization efficiency of DOTP plasticizer can be improved in this way

(1) Choose a plasticizer with high Zeng plastic effect from the perspective of reducing the production cost of products, and choose a plasticizer with a small amount of plasticizer and high plastic efficiency (such as the softness of the product). The order of several commonly used plasticizers in increasing efficiency from high to low: polyester plasticizer→chlorinated paraffin→DNP→epoxy soybean oil→TCP→TOP→DOS→DOZ→DOP→DOA→DBP.
(2) Pay attention to choosing plasticizers with good durability, that is, those with high boiling point, high flash point, not easy to migrate and good oil extraction resistance should be preferred. The order of flash point of Zeng plasticizer from high to low: TCP→DOS→DOA→DOP→DBP.
(3) Good high temperature resistance and light resistance. Since plastic molding is completed under high temperature conditions (>150℃), if the plasticizer decomposes at high temperature, it will lose the role of plasticizer, and it will also promote PVC material break down. For outdoor PVC products, plasticizers should have good light resistance.
(4) Plasticizers with good cold resistance (plasticizers with low freezing point) should be added to the resin of products with good low temperature performance. Such plasticizers include: dibasic fatty acid esters, sebacic acid esters, adipic acid esters and the like.
(5) For plastic products that require good insulation properties, plasticizers with good insulation properties should be selected, such as phosphate ester plasticizers, which have good electrical properties. But pay attention: the addition of plasticizer to the main raw materials will reduce the electrical insulation performance of the product. The less the amount of plasticizer added, the better.
